Select Your Mission
My name is Robert Brand. Many of you know me from Echoes of Apollo , others from Facebook, LinkedIn and many other places. You will hear me on space and science podcast and even on TV occasionally. I am very involved in Space and a strong believer in Do-It-Yourself Space. To me anything is possible if you want it enough. Currently I am building a satellite with a 50/50 chance of a launch and I am involved in many other fun activities that are all about space and doing it ourselves.

KIS Kidz-In-Space
Maybe building a spacecraft is not for everyone, but these pages will give you insight into the the various missions that I am involved in and I expect many of you will also be able to be involved. KIS-Kidz-In-Space is one such mission where anyone or any school can buy a real spacecraft for $300 that will orbit the earth and send back data.
UpLift and SpaceQuest
Other activities are high altitude weather balloon launches – get 1/3 of the way to space and it is something most people could manage. SpaceQuest has lots of information on their balloon launches and UpList is my personal Balloon launches.
SugarShot
My friends in the US are launching rockets with a sugar based fuel. See how they are doing
MissionTrax
My personal quest to build a Global Space Network to track spacecraft in deep space.
